Choose images from your device or drag them into the main optimizer. The tool can queue up to 50 images; the live preview uses the first image as a measurable sample.
Choose a task, set the output format and dimensions, then use the live preview to measure the encoded file size before running your final batch.
The focused guides cover decisions that depend on the job: reducing bytes, converting to WebP or choosing dimensions.

Change output format, quality and maximum width. After a short pause, PixoSift encodes a temporary output in the browser and displays its actual byte size and dimensions.
Check the percentage saved or added, inspect the original against the output, then click Optimize images to process the final batch and download the separate output files.
A positive percentage means the encoded preview is smaller than the original; a negative percentage means it is larger. It is measured from the first queued image only. The rest of the batch may have different results, so check the final rows after processing.
The original file is never overwritten. A lossy conversion may still change visual detail in the new copy.
The current image workflow reads and encodes the selected files in your browser; it does not upload them to a PixoSift image-processing server. The website host may still process normal request and security metadata.
The tool creates downloadable output copies and does not overwrite the original file on your device. Keep the original master in case you want to export again with other settings.
Animated GIFs are not preserved as animation in the current workflow. Canvas-based export may omit source metadata such as EXIF information. Verify the output before using it for archival or specialist work.
